After 14 years of fun, Gadgetvictims.com is shutting down by the end of July 2023.
It was facinating to follow the technological evolution of all the gadgets, the IP cameras, dashcams , smartphones, computers, smart watches, ... but it's time to move on.
I'm not renewing the domain and will no longer write articles for the following reasons:
- My interest has faded out over the years and I could no longer be bothered in dedicating time writing detailed reviews on any gadget.
- The regular offers for product review slowly turned this site into a shop display while the goal was initially to gather useful technical information. (It was cool to receive so many freebies though!)
The content will remain available for an undetermined time through the original blogger web site, geekandfun.blogspot.com, like a frozen time capsule.
The physical files shared on GDrive will progressively be removed, including the old IP camera firmware files (Surprisingly I still get regular requests for them).
...but I'll keep playing!
You dont stop playing because you get old, you get old because you stop playing!
Slán!
